Eiffel tower

Eiffel Tower, the master piece of structural engineering have zero load at each and every point. Eiffel tower was the tallest structure of its time. It is located in Champ de Mars in Paris.
Got this name after the name of Gustave Eiffel whose company made the design and built it. The design of the Eiffel tower comes from the mind of two persons Maurice Koechlin and Emile Nougier.

The tower is measured around 324 metres (1080 feet) height, nearly the same as of a 80-83 storey building and it was just completed in 2 years from 1887 to 1889 without a single worker injured. Having a grand opening on 31 march 1889.

The practical use of Eiffel tower was to provide a wide view of Paris and to show that France is the leader in the technical world. Its awesome feature is that it can be seen from any part of the Paris.

Around 2 million people visited in the very first year and become more popular with the passage of time.
The total production cost of Eiffel tower came out to be $ 1.5 million.
